Post-punk legenderne fra Gang Of Four giver koncert på Hotel Cecil i København den 27. oktober.

Siden bandets stiftelse i Leeds i 1976 har Gang Of Four skabt rockhistorie og inspiration for andre store musikalske projekter lige fra Red Hot Chili Peppers, Massive Attack, U2, Rage Against The Machine til nutidige bands som Nine Inch Nails og MGMT. Nu er bandet klar med en ny EP “”Complicit”, hvor Ivanka Trump pryder albumcoveret og lægger navn til nummeret “Ivanka (Things You Can’t Have)”. Om dette nummer siger bandets frontmand And Gill følgende:

“When we think of “the media,” everyone has lots of ideas about what we mean. It could be social media, where hundreds of memes criss-cross the world; informing, misinforming, beginning or reinforcing ideas that may last a lifetime and beyond. Ideas about Jews, Muslims, or, say, the world trade centre or perhaps, the criminality of certain American politicians. And then there is the receding traditional media with disappearing jobs like “journalists” and “fact checkers.” That’s the media the Trump family despise.”
